The Culture CaféTM offers a 1-hour conversation series as adjunct to our Advanced Course, Mediation in Cultural Contexts.
We aim to improve understanding about race and culture’s role in conflict within multicultural-multiethnic, pluralistic, and globalized environments. The Café will allow us to continue conversations about Diversity, the importance of Inclusion and Best Practices.
The Café is open to all participants in the Advanced Certificate Training – Mediation in Cultural Contexts.

CONVERSATION TOPICS
Topics will be selected from stories shared by participants about issues they encounter at work and in everyday life that pose challenges to meaning making and in conflict with prescribed work-related procedures and relationships. The issues will be examined through cultural lenses and the prism of Human Rights Codes.
SAFETY IN THE CAFÉ
The Café will operate in a safe learning space in order to engage participants in candid discussions about issues related to exclusivity and inclusivity in diversity.
